INIS’ NOTICE REGARDING RENEWAL OF PERMISSION TO REMAIN OF SPOUSES OF STUDENTS GRANTED STAMP 4 PERMISSION TO REMAIN UNDER THE 2004 STUDENT PROBATIONARY EXTENSION SCHEME

The INIS’ website informs that spouses of students granted a Stamp 4 Immigration permission following the conclusion of the 2004 Student Probationary Extension Scheme can now apply for an extension of their permission to remain in the State.

Spouses must complete an Application Form and a Statutory Declaration.

The fully completed application form together with the below documentation should be submitted to:

13-14 Burgh Quay
Dublin 2

The following supporting documentation must be submitted:-

• Certified colour copy (all pages) of current passport;
• Copy of most recent Certificates of Registration (GNIB card);
• Details of medical insurance for the year, 2013, 2014 and 2015;
• Copy of marriage certificate ( if in a language other than English certified translated copy must be provided); and
• Proof of current address e.g. utility bill (e.g. gas, electricity etc).

If the applicant is employed, the following documents must be submitted as well:-

• Letter from current employer confirming employment details, including start date of employment and current salary level;
• Copies of applicant’s most recent pay slips; and
• P60 for the year 2013 and 2014.
